Founded in 1920, Swansea University has an enrollment of over 15,000 students. The University community thrives on exploration and discovery, and offers the right balance of excellent teaching and research, matched by an enviable quality of life. A three week pre-sessional orientation in London is offered, where students have the opportunity to study in and explore London before beginning classes in Swansea.
Swansea University is located in Swansea, Wales right along the coast on the Gower Peninsula. Located in the center of the south Wales coastline, the city of Swansea has a population of 177,000. With the beach right across the road from the university, students are easily able to study and enjoy the beautiful surrounding area.
Swansea University offers a wide range of courses and excellent facilities, with programs in the Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Human and Health Science, Law, and the Sciences. Certain programs are restricted in the fall semester as students must sit for the exams in January: Business, Biological Sciences, Math, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, and Geography. It may still be possible to take courses in these areas, but you will need to work with an Education Abroad Advisor at UND.
Students will live with Swansea University students in student housing a couple miles from campus.
