| About
UND’s partnership with Korea Aerospace University (KAU) is a unique study abroad opportunity for UND Aviation students. KAU has strong support from Korean Air and is the only university in Korea which specializes in cutting-edge aviation and aerospace technologies and management. KAU’s aviation programs were the first in Asia to be accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board In- ternational (AABI). KAU’s summer program offers foreign students field training at Korean Air and Incheon International Airport. In addition, students will have cultural opportunities to travel to places of interest in Korea through day trips.

| Location
KAU is located in Goyang, just outside of Seoul.

| Academics
Students take 2 classes for 6 credits. There is a morning and afternoon session, with each session having about 3 different courses to choose from. There is also the opportunity to do a two week internship after classes.

| Housing
Students live in the KAU residence halls with other students.

Program Reviews:
John Patrick McEwen, Summer 2014 Participant
It was great and the director, Joon Lee, did fantastic to make sure the program went off without a flaw. I would recommend anyone to take this program.
Matthew Alexander Ipolito, Summer 2014 Participant
Fantastic program if you're interested in Korean culture or have an interest in working in aviation overseas
