The University of Oulu exchange offers students a rich combination of academics and cultural adventure.

| Location


The city of Oulu was founded in 1605 as a trading center on the Gulf of Bothnia. The town retains a strong maritime atmosphere with a picturesque waterfront and market place and enjoys a rich and varied cultural life. In addition, its many sports facilities offer excellent opportunities for sporting activities at all levels, both indoors and out.

| Academics


The second largest university in Finland with 16,000 students, the university is an international scientific community known for high quality research. The university encompasses eight fields of study: Humanities, Education, Economics & Business, Medicine, Dentistry, Health Sciences and Technology. With a number of courses offered in English this program offers students the opportunity to study in a unique and affordable location.
